UNEXPECTED Featured Artist: Lissy Selvius

Lissy Selvius lives and works in San Diego, California, and is currently a MFA Candidate in her final year at San Diego State University. In her time at SDSU so far she has received multiple scholarships, like the Windgate Scholarship, and helped to create the interactive pop-up exhibition AKA Wear it, which first happened at SNAG Boston, and will happen again in October 2016 at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. As a jewelry artist she creates necklaces made with melted aluminum that are an external form of her internal emotions.
