Originally from Maryland, Kyri Hinkleman earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Towson University. There, she was able to find her calling as an artist and explore her design and fabrication skills through the creation of jewelry and wearable art. In 2015 she was honored to have been accepted into the Masters of Fine Art program in Metals and Jewelry design at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. As an artist, she strives to push the boundaries of her own creative style, resulting in artistic freedom and authenticity. Kyri specializes in mixed media and combines new material discoveries with traditional metalsmithing materials and techniques.
